Here are the instruments in band
(Click an instrument to hear what it sounds like): Flute Oboe Clarinet Saxophone Trumpet/Cornet French Horn * Trombone Baritone/Euphonium * Tuba * Percussion * (Snare, mallets, and more) * The school owns these instruments so students will keep their rented instruments at home. |
Combo Option
Students enrolled in an instrumental music ensemble (band or orchestra) that would also like to sing in chorus have the option of being a “combo” student. Combo students are enrolled in band or orchestra AND chorus during the same period. They alternate between classes every other day, attending Band/Orchestra on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and Chorus on Tuesday/Thursday, for example. The skills and concepts learned in chorus reinforce those being learned in band/orchestra and vice versa.
